For today’s outfit on focus are these Stefanel white culottes I found at Bulgaria Mall. During the late Middle ages culottes were called tight knee-length panties worn by the European upper-class. However, the fashion industry has taken the word for describing something rather different. Nowadays, culottes like the ones I’m wearing are described as panties that look like a skirt. So, don’t be judgemental on hearing the word culottes. In present time they look pretty good and are extremely fashionable. Here’s how I’ve styled them.
STEFANEL Culottes / STEFANEL Top / STEFANEL Necklace / STEFANEL Belt / PRONTA Bag / PRONTA Rings
For this look I have gone for combining white and cream. Most people are skeptical about such a combo, but I find it edgy, especially when parted by a poppy color. Hence, it’s not just mixing shades but also fabrics and styles as it’s pretty visible – flowy sheer top contrasting the tailored wide-leg culottes. In regards to the pop of color, I’ve never been into turquoise, but I’m starting to introduce it to my wardrobe more and more often. Maybe my love (and nostalgia) for the crystal Caribbean waters have changed me somehow.
All of the aforementioned items are available at Bulgaria Mall.
Do you have at least one pair of culottes in your wardrobe?
Love,
Denina ♥
