When I started this blog 4 years ago, I promised myself to inspire you into wearing more color. Never doubted that black is classy, but as one of you once said – life is too short to wear just black.
However, throughout those years I have had my black crushes, though very, very rarely. In fact, I recently had one, and bought this beautiful linen dress from ZARA. It was a quick decision, because I loved the cut and the bare shoulders. It just felt mine because of that. And though buying a black dress is truly a rare occasion for me, I am now so happy with this one that I can’t stop wearing it. Especially, with my straw Victoria Handmade bag & polka dot scarf.
The bottom line here is that even if a piece of clothing or an accessory doesn’t match your typical preferences, you should go for it when it looks and feels good on you. Give way to change and don’t be afraid to do or wear something you were sure you wouldn’t before. People change. Their perceptions and tastes, too. It’s totally fine, and is very refreshing, indeed.
