I have been reading about beauty trends lately and must say that this one I enjoy the most – the no-makeup look. Too much make-up has never been my thing so this emerging beauty standard is quite respectable. Here’s how I do it myself:

No-makeup look trend

For a good no-makeup look before applying foundation I put on my face Alteya Organics Nourishing Face Serum. It is excellent for any type of skin, as it has this amazing balancing effect of natural oils.

I’m a big fan of Guerlain’s cosmetics and I use PARURE DE LUMIÈRE Light-Diffusing Foundation #04 for a skin infused with light. After applying just a small amount of it, I move on to my brows, filling them with Météorites Blossom Ecrin Sourcils Eyebrow Kit. Then, I put on CILS D’ENFER MAXI LASH MASCARA for extra volume and curl sculpting. To achieve a delicate bronzing look I rely on TERRACOTTA Light Sheer Bronzing Powder #03 – frankly, the best I have ever used. Lastly, I apply a small amount of Guerlain’s GLOSS D’ENFER INTENSE COLOUR & SHINE BARE LIP SENSATION #402 for a finishing touch.

I read in an interview of Gwyneth Paltrow that beauty is about feeling comfortable in your own skin. To me a woman needs only as much makeup as to accentuate on her feminine loveliness. What’s more, I myself love the confidence less make-up gives me. And to persuade you further, I would add in a recent study revealing that men fancy women with less makeup (TIME).

Ultimately, make-up is about creating an image, and why not build a natural and apparently more attractive representation of ourselves. The key phrase you only need to remember is “just a small amount“.

Ciao!
