Weather really affects me. The most efficient way to stay out of the blues is by having chocolate. It doesn’t really help me stay in shape though. Despite the fact I haven’t managed to do so in the last month. So, as you imagine, I need to find another solution for beating the gloominess that surrounds me during those winter months. Here comes the role of my color-theory.
The color theory consists of three words “Wear more color.” For me that’s the sure path to beating the gloominess. That’s why I bought this red coat two months ago (I’ve styled it also here.) Subconsciously it really cheers me up – like dressing up the brain.
P.S.: A while back I shared a post about breaking fashion taboos. Not only does this outfit represents my color theory concept, but it also goes on that list by breaking the fashion taboo of wearing a skirt shorter than the coat. I’m definitely not a fan of this old-fashioned perception since wearing a skirt that’s an inch or two shorter in comparison to the coat can look quite stylish and chic. If you’re not overdoing it, of course!

ZARA Coat (Sold out but similar) / H&M Skirt (Similar) / STRADIVARIUS Scarf (Similar) / NOHOLITA Boots (Similar) / MANGO Sweater (Sold out but similar) / AVAVIEW Necklace
How do you beat the gloominess yourself? Any tips to share?
Love,
Denina ♥
