Trends come and go. Yet, some of them are timeless. One of the key trends for Spring/Summer 2015 is set to be flare jeans. When I first heard that I absolutely loved the idea of wearing it, even though I would have done it without it being in vogue. In this sense, I’d like to use Rachel Zoe’s words to remind you that “…what you wear does really need to reflect what your personal style is.” So, if you don’t feel like being yourself by wearing this trend, then don’t. Yet, if you are like me – loving the flare jeans trend – then go crazy about it and don’t hesitate to pop into a pair wide-leg jeans.
I myself find flare jeans really flattering and classy, ideal for both casual and elegant looks. This must the be reason I like them so much. Today I’m wearing my jeans just as I do it on a daily basis – in my favorite combo with cream and beige tones.
For this particular look I’ve bet on a Pull & Bear Jumper (another good one here), an unconventional long cardigan with back slit (alternative here), and just beneath it a warm River Island furry vest to add a little twist to this outfit. You could also replace the latter with a fur scarf – will still look good.
With pointed shoes still in trend, I couldn’t help but put on my lovely booties from Reserved (similar here). Also, you’ve seen my MANGO chocolate bag before, which still has my unconditional love. I actually find structured bags look fantastic in combination with flare jeans. What’s more, with a good-looking wristwatch you can’t really go wrong. And that’s it – just an ordinary day in my flare jeans – purely as I like it.
Will you be wearing the flare jeans trend this Spring?
