I’ve known Amouage as a brand for a while, but always thought these fragrances are too strong for me. Until recently when I got to spray on Amouage Sunshine. Absolutely beautiful and my new go-to fragrance which gives me all of the sunshine I need!
With the pregnancy, I got too picky when it comes to using fragrances. 95% of the fragrances make so sick, but not this one. This one gives me happiness. It’s like a ray of sunshine smiling upon a bouquet of white florals. It is quite sweet but in such a sophisticated and balanced way. Top notes are Almond, Black Currant and Artemisia. The heart is composed of Osmanthus Absolute, Jasmine, Vanilla, Magnolia. And all of that is very well balanced by the base notes of Cade, Patchouli, Blond Tobacco, Papyrus. I’d be curious to know your thoughts if you’ve tried it!
About the brand:
Amouage is an international luxury fragrance house renowned for creating some of the most finely crafted perfumes in the world. Founded in the Sultanate of Oman in 1983 to be ‘The Gift of Kings’, the House has redefined the Arabian art of perfumery. Amouage perfumes carry a sophisticated signature. They are different and very complex. Definitely not for every nose. These are fragrances of multi-faceted florals, spices and woods, as well as other rare ingredients that create intriguing contrasts. However, they can be so unexpected that I’d advise you go and try them before committing to a purchase.
Have you used any of the Amouage fragrances? What perfumes do you enjoy for Spring/Summer – citrus fragrances or fruity fragrances?
