Most of you who follow me on social media, know that this week I attended Sofia Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2016 at EFE Marinella Event Hall. In September I was present at its first edition (here and here), but this year it is even more breathtaking.
At the opening event on Day 1 a handful of International designer brands walked the runway including Cesare Paciotti and Carducci. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it for Day 2 and Day 3 when Bulgarian designers like Djofra, Jeni Style and MegZ stepped on the catwalk, as well as some student collections. However, believe it or not, I somehow managed to convince Ron to join me for the last two events. What really amazed me was that he actually kind of liked the experience and the atmosphere. On Day 4 – the Haute Couture event – we enjoyed the beautiful collections of both Bulgarian and International designers like PK Fashion House and Stoyan Radichev. Yet, the most marvelous experience of all was the closing event which featured my favorite designer brands Valentino and Ermanno Scervino. Definitely the best way to end this 5-day fashion marathon.
As for the first edition of Sofia Fashion Week, I once again teamed up with H&M for my outfits on Day 1 and Day 4. For the opening event I wanted to stay classy and very elegant, while still looking current. I was bold and opted for high-waisted wide-leg trousers. At first, it felt a little strange, since I have never worn so wide trousers. But eventually I loved this masculine-chic look and the comfort it brings. For Day 4, I opted for color, lace and a off-the-shoulder style. Everything that I am currently craving.
