I just had the privilege to attend an exclusive event in Athens for the Mugler for H&M Collection. It was a big scale event for about 400 people from Greece, Cyprus and Bulgaria, including media, influencers and special guests.
Some of the guests from Bulgaria included Valerie Yordanova, Denitsa Stoyanova, Elitsa Behar, Ivana Alexandrova, Dimitar Andonov from Grazia Magazine and more.
The Bulgarian part of the performance at the event was Gloria Petkova who was the coolest DJ possible that they could have invited.
Tamta was the Greek star of the night who took the performance on another level with styling and choreography in the very spirit of Mugler.
ABOUT THE COLLECTION
The collection is celebrating the Mugler’s iconic shapes and styles. Each piece is defined by the Mugler energy: playful, youthful, body-positive and complimenting each individual’s identity.
The H&M designer team gave Casey Cadwallader (Mugler’s Creative Director) the full freedom to design in the spirit of the brand, just as he feels it. Which means the end result is 100% Mugler. However, in his own words this was also a chance to celebrate the house’s history as there are a couple of archive style inspired by the original designs of Thierry Mugler himself – as a tribute to his greatest hits from the the 80s & 90s. Like the black velvet dress with a shaped waist, and puffed sleeves; the lace corset dress; the skirt suit with piercing details, and the acidic green tailored jacket.
The collection will be available worldwide online at hm.com and in selected stores on 11.05. at 10:00 a.m.
