I was pretty consistent in sharing about our trip to Paris and all the wonderful and inspiring moments of it. But I didn’t share one thing – an unexpected phone call I got during our stay there.
Ron and I were just making our way in the city of love and fashion, when an unknown number phoned. I picked up, expecting it was a courier trying to deliver something at home. It wasn’t. A soft voice of a very polite woman told me I was just nominated for GRAZIA magazine’s Woman of the Year 2018 under the Internet category. In that very moment I got thrills. Never have I ever expected that I would make it to a list of 4 women in the entire country who have been influential enough in the Internet sphere to receive such a nomination. But it happened and made me realise that I have had a good year. A year in which I certainly worked a lot, and didn’t sleep much. But it was all worthy. I grew as a personality. Scored my first solo project for the advertorial campaign of Bulgaria Mall. Designed my first dress ever for Verychi. Traveled to places I never been, and had wonderful opportunities coming along like meeting Kenzo Takada in his home. But most importantly stayed consistent in everything I love doing despite the difficulties, because it wasn’t all roses.
Truth is, this nomination made me appreciate my achievements, and I’m thankful for it, because at a point I was so focused on working that I didn’t see the bigger picture. Whatever GRAZIA Magazine saw in me for this nomination, I feel honored to be among the selectees. You can now vote for whoever you think deserves to win the title Woman of the Year 2018 in all the 10 categories at http://www.graziaonline.bg/woty/
And just as a final note: I would really like to thank each and every person who supported me throughout the past months. Everyone of you who commented and shared their feedback. You have made me happy and inspired me to work and create. ♥ And, of course, my deep gratitude also goes to the people who awarded me those opportunities and trusted in me.
