Summer is my favorite beauty season. Skin gets glowy and beatiful, and it doesn’t need much to make it even more beautiful. This season I partnered with Douglas at Bulgaria Mall to share with you the 2019 edition of my bronzed beauty favorites. Here they come.
Clarins Bronzing Compact
This luminous matte bronzing powder warms the complexion with a sun-kissed desert glow. What I like about it, is it has tiny shiny participles which do not just flatten the look, but add a subtle glow. I usually am not a fan of powders, but this one I love. Although I need to be honest – I use just tiny amounts of it.
Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Desert Heat Eyeshadow Palette
There’s not much to say here. Only that this is one of my all time favorite eyeshadow palettes! It is a limited edition, and is as good as the packaging itself. They call it the eye palette for endless summer – 9 silky shadows both matte and shimmer finishes. And the shades are just so good! And easy to blend!
Guerlain Terracotta Sticks
I need to say that the Guerlain Terracotta series is great in all its products varieties. I have been a fan of the Terracotta powder bronzer for years (and also recommend it!). But this Summer I wanted to try something different. I got the highlighting sticks in nude and universal blush. They both spread very naturally and it takes a little amount to accomplish that Guerlain’s signature glowy look. Great thing is they wouldn’t dry out the skin, because of the jojoba oil in the formula. Also the stick fits in the bag (just a bit larger than a lipstick) and excludes the need of bringing an extra brush.
Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Bergamote Calabria Eau de Toilette
This one is Summer locked in a bottle. It was an unplanned discovery which I loved in an instant. Aqua Allegoria is a continuously renewed collection with cheerful fragrances that represent happy moments. And Bergamote Calabria is my favorite happy Summer moment! Thanks to the bergamote it’s so fresh and vibrant, but at the same time a bit spicy with some woody notes and musk at the base. It’s refreshing, crisp, cheerful and I can feel some delicate warmth at the background. When it comes to my skin, I can say this fragrance has a moderate longevity.
Clarins Delicious Self-Tanning Cream
I’m quite lucky because both my parents tan very easily, and I have inherited this from them. But I know that many of you are struggling with tanning, so I can recommend a product I bought before Summer, when I wanted to add a naturally-looking tint to my skin. This product I do not use at the moment, but I will in Winter, when my skin gets pale again. So, if you are struggling with your tan, you should certainly try the Clarins Delicious Self-Tanning Cream. Just follow the instructions on the package. Exfoliate your skin in advance, add a hydrating lotion and then spread the formula very evenly on your skin. Don’t forget to wash your hands. It will last for at least 3-4 days, before you need to reapply. Although it really depends on skin and lifestyle.
Also, there’s an alternative to it! It’s called Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster and you add drops of it in your own creams and lotions, so you can use them and still get that natural healthy glow. I did not buy it, because when I tested it in-store, I did not see any results. But later I was explained by a specialist that the tester in-store is just to feel the texture. It does not have the active ingredient because it’s intense and would leave a stain. So, I intend to buy this one as soon as I finish with the cream.
