Every season I do my online research on the latest hair trends – mainly hairstyles, because I barely ever change my color and haircut. One of the bright trends turned out to be the so called ribbons. Inspired by the catwalk, I decided to try out and share 4 hairstyles with a ribbon that are very easy to do and with which I am going to try this fall.
I have always liked the low ponytails, but when I was little my mother would tied my hair up high and since then I have developed a habit for this. This season I promised myself to do the low ponytail more often, as it looks extremely stylish and elegant. And to add a big velvet bow to it, as they did at Tory Burch’s fashion show. You can do the mid parting, but I prefer deep side parting for myself.
You will need a minute to recreate this second hairstyle idea. Unless we count the straightening moment, which actually is not obligatory. Take the front upper part of your hair and tie it with a small band. Then, take a long thin ribbon and wrap it up around the hair band. Tie underneath and let it fall freely.
The 90s come back with some of their fashion features such as hair straps. I personally prefer to use something I can tie well. Moreover, it looks eye-catchy and chic when the edges of the ribbon are visible on the one side.
And if you are tired of lacing ribbons or it feels too complicated for you, get a bow hair clip like my velvet one. It will save you time. Just grab your hair in a loose cocoon and add the hair accessory as an accent.
As you have seen, for hairstyles 1, 2 and 3 hair should be perfectly straight and very smooth. For this purpose, it is best to use rinse-free care to hydrate, nourish and smooth your hair. At the moment I am very happy with the L’oreal Professionnel Serie Expert – Inforcer, which I was already telling you about in a previous post. My hair is much easier to master and stylize. It also extra shiny and has a very pleasant scent.
And where to get such hair accessories?
Those here were bought from Zara and H & M. I bought the long strip with red flowers from a newly opened store on Vitosha street. But the best and budget-friendly option in my opinion remains to visit the nearby tailor’s shop.
