Fashion is not necessarily about labels. It’s not about brands. It’s about something else that comes from within you. Ralph Lauren

During fashion weeks most of us are overwhelmed with the brands seen on the catwalk. Too often we forget that though fashion may be seasonal and determined by a small number of designers, in reality it is a state of the inner self. Fashion should be synonym to style. It should be a deep expression of who you truly are and your feelings. Don’t rely on labels to speak for you. Rather, learn to make statements through your personal style and self-confidence, through statements that describe your personality – branded or not, expensive or cheap. Be who you really want to be and show it to the world through your unique understanding of fashion.

The boyfriend shirt I’m wearing for this look was bought by me before I got pregnant but it turned out to be really functional for the growing bump period. Very lightweight and easy to style! I’ve paired it with classy and versatile dark jeans, and a pair of black pointed pumps to make the look chic. The statement piece this time is the ladylike pink handbag with slight gold details, matching the jewelry – a gold boyfriend watch and an ear cuff. Once again I’m wearing my favorite cat eye sunglasses, which you’ve already seen in this post. Overall, I do like this look because it is stylish and feminine without having to show too much skin. Moreover, it can be a really nice shift in traditional office wear.
