I have the opportunity to try a variety of beauty products. Some of them are good, some not so good. So, I thought I should share what’s new in my beauty bag and also worth the attention.
Esthederm is a French selective beauty brand which focuses on skin care and helping it stay young for as long as possible. I have been using the serum for 3 weeks now and it feels great on my skin. The latter tends to get dry, so I was curious if a product with such a light texture would work well, but it did.
To get the most accurate impressions, I stopped using any other skin care products except micellar water, which I always use to clean my face. It turned out that the serum meets all the needs of my skin. I noticed a difference in my fine lines, which became less apparent. The three different forms of hyaluronic acid in the product’s composition penetrate into the deep layers of the epidermis to restore skin density by filling it with water. The promised result are real, so I strongly recommend the serum. And if you are concerned about hyaluronic acid like me initially, remember that it is naturally contained in the skin and completing its needs will not have a negative effect in any way.
Pro tip: When applying, go over your lips. You will love the outcome.
I was on the look for a concealer to use in my everyday. I wanted it to look natural. Tried many options, but eventually bought this one by Clarins for its light and radiant composition. It doesn’t offer a heavy coverage, but looks fantastic in my opinion.
Generally, I’m not a fan of products with such a heavy coverage. Lancome Teint Idole Stick is the first one to enjoy that much. This oil-free, highly pigmented, long wear makeup stick foundation delivers buildable coverage with a natural-looking matte finish for ultra-versatile application. It can be used as a matte foundation, for touch-ups, as a spot concealer, or to contour.
GIVENCHY Prisme Libre Loose Powder features a fusion of four complimentary, complexion refining shades that together create a natural, unified, enhanced finish. The color combination evens out skintone, and radiance is instantly boosted while shine remains under the utmost control. Very natural looking and light in coverage, which compensates the fact this one is too light for me.
Never judge a lipstick by its packaging. Once again, I remind myself this, because of YSL’s Pop Water lip gloss. The color appeared very intense but upon application it turned out the opposite. Plus, it’s long-lasting, shiny and very hydrating. Its watery brilliance stays true on the lips without drying out, or losing its impact. Lips feel supple and comfortable.
I remember when La Vie Est Belle came out. I was still studying in the UK. Fell in love with it immediately. Ron and I called it “the cotton candy” as it reminded us very much of a cotton candy. Don’t tell anyone, but I sold three studing books and bought it. Unfortunately, I started getting sick of it during my pregnancy, and do not enjoy it anymore. Then, I loved La Vie Est Belle Florale. Very light and floral. Now, the new L’eclat took over my heart. The sunny facets of the Orange Blossom lift the elegant Iris flower. Jasmin, a precious flower, spreads its sophistication and brings feminity to the fragrance. Finally, the accord of Patchouli and Vanilla gives its gourmand facet to the fragrance. Plus, it’s a very long-lasting fragrance!
Have you ever tried any of these products. Can you share some personal thoughts?
