Winter Nail Colors - Purely Me by Denina Martin

Winter Nail Colors - Purely Me by Denina Martin

With the cold season the nail color palette changes to darker and more intense one. However, I wanted to show you the main nail polishes I will be using during the winter. I find these just enough to satisfy my nail color cravings.

Most of the time I like applying colors like reds and berries, as they are really classy and feminine. This season I’m using O.P.I.’s bright red called The Thrill of Brazil (similar here), and the berry shade called Just a Little Rosti at This. The latter is pretty hard to find, but I can recommend  Scores a Goal instead. It’s slightly different but looks just as amazing! However, for bolder looks I enjoy really dark nail polishes with sparkly undertones like O.P.I.’s Black Cherry Chutney. They look crisp and catchy, plus you’re avoiding that gothic look.

Just on the opposite side of this nail color palette is O.P.I.’s Step Right Up. This one is perfect for the days when I really need something simple and not as daring. It’s just the loveliest cream shade I’ve ever had. Really simple, elegant and easy to match with clothing and accessories.

After having bought a couple of basic nail color shades, I thought I need something “trendy”. That’s why I purchased I Sao Paolo Over There, which can be described as some sort of grey-ish cappuccino. It’s what we saw on the runway from famous fashion designers during A/W fashion weeks. Yet, it’s not as grey, and looks more natural than most grey nail lacquers.

P.S.: The reason I’m showing you only O.P.I.’s shades is because I’m really happy with the brand and it’s the only one I use it at the moment. I’ve tried a number of nail color brands, and at this point I must admit O.P.I. is the best for me. From personal experience, I can confirm that it’s nail lacquers stay on for a pretty good amount of days, last longer in general and at the end may cost you as much as cheaper versions who tend to spoil a lot more easily. No need to mention the beautiful and rich nail color palette they offer! :)

What nail colors are you using this winter?
