Few days ago I showed you a casual outfit idea for lovers’ day a.k.a yesterday. I also promised you to post another one – a look good for the night out with your only one or why not with the girls. I really wanted to post it prior to St. Valentine’s day, but couldn’t fit that in my tight schedule of being a mom. So, with a slight delay and my deep apologies it is finally here – my night look for Valentine’s day.
That morning Ron surprised me with this beautiful bouquet of flowers. Red roses have always been his specialty, but this time he gave me the most beautiful of all. What thrilled me the most was the fact he made the selection on his own, and to be honest, I was speechless on holding this stunning masterpiece in my hands. There was also a red-hearted balloon, which was baby Alex’s favorite part. He simply couldn’t take his eyes off it.
Speaking of the outfit, this Valentine’s day I decided to try wearing classy red. I remember seeing that H&M lace skirt when I was still pregnant but couldn’t buy it because of the baby bump standing between us. :) Luckily, last week I spotted it on a massive end-of-season sale, and suddenly became the happiest person on earth. Perfect find for lovers’ day! So, I put on a ZARA boyfriend shirt, a pair of white pointed pumps, added a gold clutch (similar here) and some classy drop earrings (similar here), and voilá! My Valentine’s day night look all set – simple, chic and romantic. To insert some glam and make myself feel even more confident and feminine, I did the classy cat eye with a pinch of red lipstick on my lips. And I was ready for our special dinner! I say special because this was the first Valentine’s day with my two Valentines: Ron and baby Alex. For me, it was the sweetest Valentine’s day I’ve ever had. ♥
How was your Valentine’s day? What did your guys surprise you with?
