Have you ever happened to like a fashion trend and not wear it because it’s not… wearable? Well, you are not alone. It has happened to me many, many times. I usually get pretty astonished from what I see on the runways, but majority of trends barely fit into my lifestyle, wardrobe, and even body shape. So, after seeing what fashion giant’s have to show, I often get confused. Surely some of you get confused, too.
To ease your pain assimilating and understanding the trends of spring/summer 2015, I’ve summed it up. Here’s a quick and specific guide into wearable trends for this season.
We saw these tiny checks on Diane von Furstenberg, Altuzarra and Oscar de la Renta, and suddenly realized they look way better than expected.
Asos Halterneck Midi Skater Dress
ASOS Gingham Shirt in Black and White
Certainly one of my favorite trends. From safari type to military style, you will look gorgeous in khaki, just make sure you don’t go too far.
MANGO Linen Blend Shirt Dress
TOPSHOP D-Ring Playsuit
ASOS Policy Pointed High Heels
Dressed in Denim
It’s not just about jeans this season. It’s dresses, skirts, jackets, as well as some tailoring- all in denim.
MOTO Indigo Wash T-Shirt Dress
ASOS Wide Leg Cut-Out Playsuit
Part of the 70’s trend, this one is not limited to your boots only. It’s all over your bags, skirts, shirts, jackets, you name it. One thing you might want to consider is going veggie by choosing imitation suede.
H&M Imitation Suede Jacket
MANGO Suede Skirt
TOPSHOP Grand Suede Mules
Flare pants and jeans are pretty much versatile and can barely be outdated. It’s just a classy piece! Some of you may recall my flare jeans post from earlier this week.
ZARA Flared Jeans
Noisy May Black Flare Jeans
Flared Newflare Jeans in White
Which of these wearable trends would find place in your spring wardrobe? Stay tuned for Part 2 with additional fashion ideas for this season.
See you soon,
