Happy September, everyone! The month we typically associate with first Autumn signs has come, but I am still not giving up Summer. However, to mark the beginning of every new month, I will be updating the Happy Quote in the side bar of the blog. Take this is as a way to celebrate a new beginning, and as a reminder to improve our own selves for the next 30 days or so. This September I dedicate to Happiness.
Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions. Dalai Lama
To expand further on this quote, I’d add in that every outcome requires an input. To be happy means to do something about it. However, my personal advice for this month would be to admire happy people, because they have mastered the art of attracting happiness by means of their own actions. Admire those people and learn from them. Work towards your happiness as they do. Love. Spread joy. Do what your inner self tells you to do. Stay away from negative people, and just be happy!
For today’s outfit I decided to go a little bit French. This pleated swing dress is one of the most comfortable dresses I have. It is comfortable not just because there is space for the baby belly but because it can be combined in a variety of styles. You can see how I’ve styled it before here.
Once again I am betting on my comfy block heel sandals, but this time I’m wearing my Mango heart-shaped red clutch. If you remember from the previous outfit-of-the-day post, I have exactly the same one in nude. To emphasize on the French twist, I’ve chosen a white polka-dot scarf – very lightweight and feminine. In terms of accessorizing, there is no better addition to the outfit than a good wristwatch, paired with a set of simplistic studded earrings.
The recreated look:
ASOS Mesh Top Swing Cami Dress
Geox Nolina Sandals
Ray Ban Classic Wayfarer Sunglasses
Michael Kors Darci Round Bracelet Watch
Juliet & Company Forget Me Knot Earrings
White Stuff Spotty Dreaming Away Scarf
Marc B Metro Double Pouch Across Body Bag
I’ll be happy to hear your opinion on this outfit in the comment bar below.
