Last week I presented you with the last summer outfit in partnership with Bulgaria Mall with the promise to switch topics from summer to autumn trends. However, prior to this, I will devote some time on showcasing beauty must-haves. Today I’m introducing you to the latest beauty brand at Debenhams – the Balm cosmetics. The store recently welcomed its complete line of make up with the “beauty in five minutes” philosophy. I had the chance to test the mineral cosmetics and share my experience with you.

My first impressions with the Balm Cosmetics are pretty obvious. These beauty products are very unique in their packaging and product names that you can’t pass them by. This retro and playful approach makes The Balm stand out among all other beauty brands. Hence, it’s of good quality and fits within a mid price range, while offering quick fixes and wondrous solutions for a wide range of beauty wants and needs. What’s more, those wearable colors and fantastic mineral formulas are talc-free, paraben-free, and cruelty-free.

Now let’s go through a few of the products I used myself. The first product of the series that impressed me well is the Balm Shelter Tinted Moisturizer – easy to apply and quite appropriate for dry skin. I also sensed it gets a little darker with time. You should bare this in mind when choosing a shade. However, the other product I find intriguing is Cindy-Lou Manizer – a highlighter, eye shadow and shimmer in one that looks nice and sparkly, perfect for adding in to a bronzed look.

The Balm cosmetics also offers good travel-friendly face palettes like the multi-tasking travel companion I used – the Balm Voyage Vol.2. It features nine exclusive triple-milled eyeshadows which can be used wet or dry, two blushes, a bronzer, a highlighter, and two versatile lip-and-cheek creams. Basically, all you need.

P.S.: Though I haven’t used it, I also loved the How ’bout them apples? cheek and lip palette. It features 6 shades that can be both used as a blusher and lip gloss.
