Having been born in the heart of the Rose Valley, I have always been conquered by the fascination of roses. In May, when they start blooming, I really can’t get enough of their prettiness. In that same way, I felt conquered by the lively and extraordinary Pepita Rose of FREYWILLE. The saturated red and pink roses in this collection are really impressive, especially contrasting over the black & white shepherd’s plaid pattern. Their boldness makes a statement by mixing modern and vintage.
Speaking of which, yesterday I visited the FREYWILLE boutique in Sofia, where I submerged in the vintage spirit of the Viennese jewelries. This year the brand celebrates 65 years of artistic designs and delicate enameling. On this occasion, the boutique is hosting an exhibition by the end of the week, marking the impressive evolution of the brand. Did you actually know that FREYWILLE started out by creating home decor items – tea pots, trays, and jewelry boxes? Wait to see them. It is truly unbelievable! But I really don’t want to tell you more. You need to see it for yourself. Meanwhile, I will be enjoying the modern creations of the brand and the gorgeous Pepita Rose, while actively looking forward to this year’s Rose Festival.
