I usually avoid wearing too much make-up, as natural looks are more appealing to me. However, there are times, when I feel like doing something different. Yet, I find my green eyes quite hard to experiment on in terms of color. This weekend I was determined to find an eyeshadow palette in hues different than blacks or browns. That’s how I found my hands on the Sephora Collection 5 Eyeshadow Palette in Mild to Wild Khaki. I didn’t expect I could find a green shade that would suit my eye-color that well, but eventually I was really pleased with the choice. I’ve never tried Sephora’s eyeshadows before, but must admit they have a pretty good texture and are easy to apply. This particular palette stayed on throughout the whole day, and did not smudge on.
In regards to the overall look, I applied a small amount of black Sephora Collection Contour Eye Pencil just above the eyelashes and inside the eyelid to deepen the eye. I defined it further with the help of Estee Lauder‘s Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara, which conditions the lashes very nicely and helps in magnifying the look. As this is a day-appropriate make-up, I wanted to put the accent just on the green eyes. So, all the other products used are in natural and soft shades, including Bourjois Blusher in Ambre D’or (similar shade here), and Max Factor Color Elixir Gloss in Glossy Toffee.
What do you think about this green eye look? Do you have any other color reccommendations for green eyes?
