You know how much I love adding pop of color. The common way to do it is by opting for monochrome looks. However, that’s not an exclusive option. Another universal tip for mastering the pop of color styling is matching it with a pattern piece that involves the statement color itself. Just as the dress I’m wearing here, which involves the shade of the brick jacket.
However, there’s another crucial aspect to keep in mind. Even if the piece of garment involves the pop of color, its overall color appearance should look well on that color itself. For instance, had the dress been in baby blue overall appearance, the combination would have looked quite unpleasant and unbalanced. But its grey look is more than just fine on that brick jacket.
The latter was an instant catch when I walked by Catty at Bulgaria Mall. It captured my eye for its saturated brick shade, suedette fabric and biker-jacket cut. What’s more it’s one of those current pieces that will stay on top of trends this season, and will still be relevant for spring because of its bright color.
All of the aforementioned items are available at Bulgaria Mall.
How are you mastering the pop of color styling yourself? Any tips to share?
