This year favorite boutique jewelry brand FREYWILLE celebrates 65 years of artistic craftsmanship and flawless enameling. On this occasion they have released a new collection called PHARAOH Egypt.
Inspired by the rich and magical Egyptian cultural heritage, FREYWILLE’s team has lead an extensive research to create a symbolic collection, giving note to femininity, grandeur and ancient beauty. It features expressive colors in bright turquoise, intense royal blue and radiant red referring to the semi-precious stones that were used in decorative pieces of jewellery at the time of the Pharaohs. This breathtaking collection splits into two different, yet equally marvelous designs – Tutanchamun and Luxor.
The Tutanchamun design portrays motifs from the famous Tutanchamun treasures implementing a special meaning. Such as the tender lotus flower which stands for regeneration and renewal; the scarab which serves as a lucky charm; the Pharaoh’s shiny sun disk which represents vitality and joy. Luxor itself is inspired by ancient Egyptian Princess Chnumet’s treasures. (Hers is the oldest enamel jewelry ever found!). The main subject of this design are graceful rosettes and delicate lilies, symbols of nobility and femininity.
When I first got close to the magic of Pharaoh, I was sure I like the Tutanchamun design more. Until I actually tried to mix them. The combination was rich and opulent just like Pharaoh’s treasures. And I truly felt like an Egyptian princess…
FREYWILLE and I teamed up to bring you an opportunity of winning the heart pendant necklace I’m wearing in the photos. Just scroll down and enter via the widget below the photos.
