On this day in 2014 I published my very first post on the blog. I thought that my blogger-self will live for a month or two, but here I am – two years later still doing this with my heart and soul.
I never anticipated that blogging would get under my skin so badly. At a point I was feeling lost and kind of unhappy how my career was developing. And then – as it usually happens in life – by chance I started working on this virtual diary of mine. The more effort I was putting, the more I was loving it. Few months later, Alex was born, but I couldn’t give up on blogging. It meant hardship, but definitely not an impossibility.
Looking back, I see that LOVE has always been my driving force. My love for blogging, for fashion, for creating something, and mostly the love between Ron and I. For these two years I proved myself that working hard isn’t self-sufficient. It is love that helps everything flourish so beautifully. And even though I am having hard times more often than you imagine, the thing that always pulls me out of the hole is that same love.
The point I want to make here is not to underestimate the power of loving. I’m not talking about the fairy-tale kind of way, but rather about the realistic understanding that love and passion will help you achieve more than you would expect.
And to finish off, I would like to share these 3 favorite reminders, hoping you would find them inspirational:
Work is love made visible. - Kahlil Gibran
Where there is love and inspiration, I don’t think you can go wrong. - Ella Fitzgerald
If you do what you love, it’s the best way to relax. - Christian Louboutin
All of the aforementioned items are available at Bulgaria Mall.
What’s your driving force in life? What’s your key to doing better?
