Happy Monday, everyone! I feel so excited to be back with the blog again, introducing the first outfit post of the year. Hope you will like it!
I guess most of you heard the color of 2015 according to Pantone is ‘Marsala’. Marsala is a naturally robust and early wine red, enriching our minds, bodies and souls, as they name it. So, I’ve chosen to devote the first post of the year to this beautiful color by incorporating a little taste of wine hues.
I’ve never been into hats that much. In fact, I always liked and bought hats, but never wore them. Not until recently. Maybe I finally figured out how important it is to stay warm in cold weather, especially when you can still look chic.
For this outfit I’m wearing a fedora in marsala/wine-red (Similar here and here). Though I have a matching scarf, I thought it’d be more interesting to combine it with a ashy shade of pink – this cute furry scarf I totally love at the moment (Similar here). These are both from Stradivarius. As far as the jacket is concerned, this black piece is really warm and at the same time has a really elegant shape unlike other bulky jackets and coats. You can have a look at a similar one here. Underneath it I’m wearing a simple turtle neck jumper in cream from Esprit. It’s such a versatile piece that can be incorporated in a variety of different styles.
Currently, I’m so into wearing black pants and black booties (similar here and here). After giving birth a month and a half ago, I still have a lot to work on my body shape. I feel like this combo elongates my silhouette, and makes me more confident. Oh, yes, and the bag… do I need to say something about it? :)
So, do you fancy Marsala? I think I like this year’s color much more than last year’s.
