Not long ago I came across KrepeJ – a Bulgarian designer jewelry brand that stands out in its concept. Impressed by its uniqueness, I knew I had to introduce it to you. This is how this perfect synergy called “KrepeJ & I” was born.
KrepeJ accessories are all handmade by its creator and designer Dia Nikolova. Inspired by her job as an interior designer, Dia started making jewelry from all those construction and decor materials you’ll find in your home like rotary fasteners, mini pipes, leather, etc. It’s even more impressive that Dia sells her creations in paint cans! With every single aspect of KrepeJ she amazes! Today I’m showing how I amaze wearing my beautiful KrepeJ tulle bows with a little pop of yellow.
However, to help you further understand the brand, we did a short interview:
Hi, Dia! After making me fell for KrepeJ so badly, share how and when you decided to start this whole thing?
I started with KrepeJ to relax physically and emotionally. I was stealing time for myself and for my thoughts. Maybe that’s the reason why it became so personal and real. I’ve always been into fashion, but when I went on to study interior design, it only remained as a hobby. Now I’m an interior designer, working on houses, apartments, restaurants, etc. I observe their realization from the very beginning, from where I encounter many interesting materials, well-known to men. One day, working on a project, I came across an adapter. That’s how it all started.
Where do you get inspiration, apart from your job?
I believe inspiration is everywhere around us. It’s all about having different perceptions of the senses.
Can you describe the woman, wearing KrepeJ?
I wouldn’t frame the woman, wearing KrepeJ. Every woman is an individual, and to me every woman would wear KrepeJ. That’s because I work on offering a wide variety of choices without loosing my conceptual idea. This turns out to be a tough job, actually! However, I still have two words to describe the woman, wearing KrepeJ – brave and individual.
Where can we find KrepeJ?
KrepeJ accessories is the Facebook page. There you can follow where it’s sold. There are a few shops in Sofia, Burgas and Plovdiv. I also take part in public bazaars, where you can buy straight from me.
Thank you for the interview, Dia, and for your beautiful creations!
