Last week I talked about the Folklore Romance behind H&M Studio Collection for Autumn/Winter 2016. However, being inspired by Swedish culture and folklore, it splits into a several motifs. Today, I am exploring a second one.
This second interpretation of the mix Swedish culture and fashion captures with its emphasized femininity. It’s full of neutral and earthy tones contrasting over deep blacks. The key print is inspired by the Swedish predator Lynx. The latter looks bold and beautiful when mixed with the snake print of the box bag, also part of the collections. The skirt itself adds extra femininity by emphasizing on that hourglass silhouette.
Take a look at the full H&M Studio AW16 Collection here, which will be available for purchase on Sept 8th.
Which motif from H&M Studio AW16 is your favorite – the animal prints featuring neutrals or the exotic floral embroideries?
