Living in the big city is something I still enjoy and wouldn’t like to give up on at this stage. I love its quick pace and lively spirit. Yet, at times Ron and I do get tired and need an escape. That’s why we try to get closer to the countryside every once and a while.
There’s so much beauty and simplicity in the countryside. Picturesque landscapes, fresh air, quietness, unpretentiousness. It’s idyllic! You just forget about the ambitious city life. Looking at these magical fields of gold and enormous hay balls makes you forget about the overly social world. You are offline. Almost. Until your phone rings and it’s a call you need to take. But other than that, it’s a moment to live in. A moment to enjoy and keep. Because you know that in a few hours you’ll be back to the innormal normal and the only way to experience this will be through photographs.
Do you often feel the need to escape the city and submerge into the magic of countryside?
