Before I sit down and start typing, I usually make a quick visit to see the collection of the brand I’m wearing online. This helps me get deeper in the spirit and drive some inspiration. When I made a quick stop at United Colors of Benetton this morning, I loved what I saw. It was a whole ode to humans simply named CLOTHES FOR HUMANS. Instead of focusing on what walks the fashion runway, the brand focuses on what real people put on every day before heading out the door. This time to get you in this authentic experience I decided to give a note to Benetton’s view for life and fashion – because it says it all.
Humans. Some are happy. Some are sad. Some are both. They make love. They make other humans. They go to work. They complain, and yell, and cry. They laugh, and snore, and sing. They play with other humans. They push, and sweat, and bleed. That’s who we make clothes for – Humans. We make clothes for humans that come in different colors. And different shapes. Humans that forget to turn off the stove. Humans that spill their drinks. Humans that are afraid of not having wifi. And humans that still can’t ride a bike. Humans that hold different beliefs. And live lives in different places. All humans. Humans with heads that think. Hearts that pump. Hands that hold. And mouths that kiss. We make clothes for all of us. Humans.
All of the aforementioned items are available at Bulgaria Mall.
What do you think about this take on fashion? Do you feel you are a human of United Colors of Benetton?
