I have often said that I wish I had invented blue jeans: the most spectacular, the most practical, the most relaxed and nonchalant. They have expression, modesty, sex appeal, simplicity – all I hope for in my clothes. ― Yves Saint-Laurent

Considering how popular, versatile and good-looking blue jeans are, I think Levi Strauss and Jacob Davis made a true gift to the fashion world by inventing them. In fact, Yves Saint-Laurent’s envy is completely understandable. I would be proud to think of a piece so convenient, universal and timeless. In fact, I love wearing jeans so much that I can’t imagine a wardrobe without a single pair of them. Is there actually anyone who doesn’t own jeans at all? That’d be worth noting since I haven’t met such a person so far.

For those of you interested, we had this little friend staring at us while shooting. He seemed to be our judge and mentor throughout, cheering up the leafy autumn atmosphere. Our companionship lasted during the whole time, so I thought it’d be cute to include him in the post.  Anyway, let’s talk ‘clothes’! In these photos I am wearing a pair of DSQUARED2 boyfriend jeans which I bought recently. I totally love both their cut and color. The sleeveless top is Liu Jo’s, but I couldn’t find exactly the same one, so I have some similar suggestions for you. In autumn days like this I enjoy wearing a classy black blazer (ZARA), and a pair of pointed heels. Once again the shoes are not matching the bag, since I like to keep a contrast between these two pieces. However, what I usually try to match is jewelry. I like when gold pieces fit with an outfit’s gold accents, as in the case with this H&M ring set. The latter are absolutely lovely. You won’t regret embracing this trend!

For your convenience I’ve made my search for similar items. Hope you like them!

See you soon!
