Today I will be discussing my beauty bag essentials with you, also revealing what I look for in my beauty products. I’m not a make-up junkie. I don’t have tons of make-up but rather own a few pieces of quality. Investing a little bit more in beauty products that last longer, look better and are not as harsh to my skin is my thing. Those of you who are following me know the two make-up brands I fancy the most are Guerlain and Estee Lauder. These two fit in the most with my beauty expectations.
However, when owning quality make-up products, I feel the need to treat them right. What I mean by that is storing them in not just a proper beauty bag, but in a one that looks marvelous like this Ted Baker stunner. What I fell for in this make-up bag in particular was the masculine + feminine combo a.k.a. the seriousness of the blue color + the sweetness of the bow combo. You can imagine – this piece was love from first sight – made right for me!

Guerlain are fantastic at foundations and powder products (which last for ages!!). The foundation I use is Parure de Lumiére because it is extremely lightweight. It somehow fuses with the skin so perfectly that even a darker shade works out well, too. In regards to powder products, I love its Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder. Its subtle golden particles make my complexion glow, leaving the face with a very natural look. Something you may want to know is I use #05 Sun Brunettes, because I get tanned very easily. Yet, I still use it in winter, but apply just a small amount, thus avoiding spending extra cash on powders for the different seasons.
Estee Lauder offer fantastic lip products and mascaras. And the latter I just can’t give up on, which is actually the double wear zero-surge lengthening one. And the name pretty much sums it up since this mascara delivers what it promises. Maybe one thing they are missing to mention is the word “natural”, because it really makes it all look very natural. However, one product I came across recently is the lash primer which conditions the lashes and makes them stronger. Why have I never used a lash primer before? Still can’t figure it out! In regards to lip products, I definetely fancy Estee Lauder’s pure color line, because of the beautiful shades and the excellent texture it has to offer. And last but not least, a fragrance essential is an everyday must which in my case is called Modern Muse. It’s my confidence boost, which makes me feel like a grown-up woman.
