I remember what it was like when we had no smartphones. We used our cell phones only to make calls, text and play “Snake”. I just got nostalgic upon writing this. Now we do everything on our phones, because they can do (almost) everything. They are smart! We take photos as great as camera photos. We use those beautification modes to take perfect selfies. We unlock them with fingerprints and so much more. Hence, they support a variety of useful apps for music, sport, weight-loss tracking, photo editing, etc.
For some time I have been planning to open a discussion about apps and share my favorites. Hence, hear yours, too! Apart from the traditional applications like Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, I love a few more. I find them useful and easy to use that’s why I’d recommend thе following 6 favorite apps.
If you are a fan of Instagram and filters, you might have heard of VSCO already. It has a bunch of great filters free to download, as well as paid packs. I haven’t bought any so far, because the free filters are also great.
Another photo editing app. SnapSeed has this brush feature that I love. It lets you adjust warmth, brightness and saturation in specific spots rather than over the entire photo. It’s very useful when I take photos in bed and bedding is not well-ironed, for instance.
My Fitness Pal
A wonderful app which lets you tracks calories and fitness activity. I haven’t used it in a while but need to start A.S.A.P. This grey and cold winter + the continuous lack of sleep have helped me gain some weight. By the way, My Fitness Pal is easy to use as it also lets you scan the barcode without having to search or add foods manually. They just come out. And you keep track of proteins, carbohydrates and fats.
I already have told you about this mobile app for selling and buying unneeded fashion items. I like it as it helps me find new owners for everything I don’t wear. New or old. You can now find my items for sale under #deninamartin, by the way. What’s more, not only can you sell things, but also buy some. For instance, I found this furry piece on Shedd.
As a person who works with photos and large files, this one is a must. I find classifying my files and sharing them via DropBox very easy and handy.
This app was my favorite while pregnant. It has a range of yoga classes with a virtual instructor which makes it feel like attending an actual class but from the convenience of my own home. There are tips. Different levels. Different class durations. Nice music for relaxation. However, I haven’t used it in a while as Alex would always go on top of me and break my balance. The perks of having a boy… :)
ASUS Zenfone 3 / Dream Catcher top (similar) / ZARA jeans / FURLA Metropolis bag
What are your favorite apps? Can you recommend some?
